DARK SHADOWS IN MONSTERLAND

Forrest J Ackerman was the "Editor Emeritus" of the James Van Hise-edited MONSTERLAND MAGAZINE. A 1980's post-FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND product, it was lasted for 17 issues. One of those difficult mixes of the new and classic, MONSTERLAND succeeded to an extent to satisfy the interests of the omnivorous monster movie fan. Despite using the instantly recognizable legendary cover logo, the generally well-written articles were detracted by lackluster page-layouts and grapic design.
