MUCHO MONSTRUOS PARA TI (PART 2)

Today is the second in the series of articles written by Walt Lee for FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND (#122, January 1976) and continues with capsule summaries of early Mexican monster movies.

As mentioned yesterday, Walt Lee authored the seminal imagi-movie encyclopedia, REFERENCE GUIDE TO FANTASTIC FILMS, first published in 1972.

This installment covers the very popular "luchadore" film series starring the Mexican wrestling hero who battled monsters, Santo. Producer and film marketer K. Gordon Murray important a number of these films in the 1960's, dubbed them into English, romanized Santo's name into "Samson", and sold them to TV.
