Summer vacation, 1968 started off promising enough with the prospect of a new giant monster move starring King Kong. Well, this 13-year-old got a good dose of Japanese crazy kaiju monster mayhem when he went to see this flick. The "man in the monkey suit" and the robot King Kong were just too much. After coming off of PLANET OF THE APES just a couple months before, could you blame me?
