Artist swipes abound in the world of horror. This 1957 Pyramid Books paperback edition with an image of Karloff from THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN was my introduction to the Mary Shelly version of FRANKENSTEIN. After watching the Universal Picture version, I was quickly schooled in the variation between a movie and its source material.
