Mary Meredith's perfume just got a little stronger. At long last, one of the greatest ghost stories in cinema's haunted history has been properly released in the U.S. on DVD and Blu-ray by the New Gods of digital discs, the Criterion Collection.
Today, Paramount's 1944 "real" ghostly drama, THE UNINVITED is available nationwide. Starring Ray Milland, Ruth Hussey, and the adorable Gail Russell, THE UNINVITED stands as one of the top classic ghost tales ever.

The film is imbued with the period English countryside charm of a classic British black and white movie, and includes some real spine-chilling scenes -- not to be missed! I give THE UNINVITED my highest recommendation.
