The Belasco House in Richard Matheson's novel, "Hell House" and the movie that it was made into, THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE, may have been the "Mt. Rushmore of haunted houses", but the MONSTER TIMES laid claim to the "Mt. Rushmore of Monsters". The double-page spread in issue #22 (1973), drawn by Bill Nelson, depicts some of our favorite monsters as Mt. Rushmore might have looked if left to the imagination of a Monster Kid!
